Shipping & Returns
Our Shipping Schedule is as follows:
Orders ship 3 times per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please consider the following cut-off times for an idea of when your order will ship. Orders placed by Noon CST on shipping days will ship on that shipping day. Orders placed after Noon CST will ship on the next scheduled shipping day.
Please note that during especially busy times, such as new collection launches, major sales, holidays, etc., your order might be pushed by one ship date. Orders set to ship on US Holidays will be pushed to the following scheduled shipping day.
The fees above do not include gift wrap or surcharges that may apply to some items.

Our shipping and processing fees cover the processing, handling, packing and delivery of your order. Most purchases shipped from our warehouses will arrive within 3-7 business days. If there is a delay, we will notify you by mail or email. Some items sent directly from our suppliers may take longer, and items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. We are working on providing Express Shipping Options, and will add them as soon as possible.
Because certain items are bulky, heavy and may have limited availability, these items require special attention and a delivery processing surcharge. This charge is listed in parentheses ($) after the item price and is in addition to regular delivery and processing charges (see chart above).
Outside Contiguous 48 States & International Shipping
Unfortunately, we are unable to ship outside of the contiguous 48 states at this time.
Shipping To A P.O. Box
Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes at this time.
Sales tax on the merchandise total is charged for items shipped to the following states: AL*, AR*, AZ*, CA*, CO*, CT*, DC*, FL*, GA*, IA, ID, IL*, IN*, KS*, KY*, LA*, MA, MD*, ME*, MI*, MN*, MO*, MS*, NC*, ND*, NE*, NJ*, NM*, NV*, NY*, OH*, OK, PA*, RI*, SC*, SD*, TN*, TX*, UT, VA*, VT*, WA*, WI*, WV*, WY and Puerto Rico*. States and US territories marked with an asterisk also collect taxes on shipping and processing charges. Except as otherwise noted, all sales are made by The Gilded Thistle, LLC and the local sales tax of the delivery destination is also charged. All sales shipped to Texas locations are made by The Gilded Thistle, LLC., and the sales tax is based on the location where the order was received. The local sales tax of the delivery destination is also charged. Orders delivered to California locations are F.O.B. destination point which means title passes in California.
We accept returns on full-priced items within 30 days of receiving an order. Except for in special cases (defective merchandise, etc.), the customer will pay the return shipping cost. If we have made a mistake with your order or your item was defective, please contact LIZ@THEGILDEDTHISTLE.COM. Review the full list of ineligible items and our refund policy below before starting the process.
Items non-eligible for returns or exchanges:
- Monogrammed items
- Gift cards
- Made to Order items
- Final Sale and Clearance items (with prices ending in $.X7 or $.X9)
- Items damaged through normal wear and tear
Most returns will process in approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on your method of return. Additional delays may occur. A refund will then be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately 2 days after the processing date. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement.
